"The AFL has today formally advised Lachlan Keeffe, Josh Thomas that they will both receive two year bans after guilty pleas to the AFL Anti-Doping code.
"Samples taken from Keeffe and Thomas on 10 February 2015 tested positive for the presence of clenbuterol - a WADA-prohibited substance.
" Both players have accepted the maximum sanction of two years and will be banned for AFL competition until 9 February 2017.
"Each is able to nominate for the draft but would not be permitted to train at any AFL club, if selected, until December 9, 2016."
